I wish I'd read all the negative comments about this book, because it is truly a terrible reference. I'm finding inaccuracies in certainly every chapter, and almost every other page. And the reviewer who mentioned the completely useless imagery was spot on. Read More Rating:  - Awesome streamlined and humorous review!I used this along with Nelson's to prep for recert exam in 2004. It really helped and I learned quite a bit that was asked. It was worth every penny and made the review enjoyable and almost fun! Definitely would but it again. And now in 2006 there is a new, 3rd edition out! Good luck! This book was EXCELLENT. It focused on points that were all over her exam. The books explanations were concise & really stressed the IMPORTANT points to focus on in order to pass, along with some humor. It made studying for the exam bearable. I highly RECOMMENDED this book to anyone who wants to PASS their peds board exam.
