Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Cooking for David cookbook for dialysis patients
My husband and I were awash in a sea of fear and ignorance as to how we were going to control his diet during dialysis. This book has been our rock from the day we received it. We have daily recipes and love almost all of them.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Looks like a helpful book
I ordered this book for my fiance, who is having kidney problems since suffering a medication interaction that damaged his kidneys. It has helpful information on diet as well as decent recipes.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The easiest one for me.
This book is a binder, it makes it easy to take off only the pages I need, either for my shopping list or for a recipe.

I like to go to the point instead of reading and reading prefaces.

I recommend this no complicated book.

Alibris, a company that sells out-of-print books, is allowing this book to be sold for over $206.00!! If that is not price gouging, I don't know what is. It is truly repulsive ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A "Must-Have" for Your CKD Library
My mother was diagnosed with stage 3 chronic kidney disease (CKD). She is on a strict diet to stave off dialysis. Unfortunately, she did not get much dietary support from her doctors other than to control her protein, sodium, and potassium intakes. After scouring the internet for information, I noticed this book had received good reviews and purchased it. My mother was very pleased with the book. It provided her with information on CKD she was looking for as well as recipes she could enjoy. The ... Read More
