It was a good refresher, the 7 compentencies I think will be very useful. I think the book is geared more for first time police interview but I did find it useful for my upcomming sergeant interview. Rating: - A useful tool, but just that, a toolDon't buy this thinking its the "Holy Grail" of interviewing and suddenly you'll be king. However, it is another accessible tool that will guide you through it, and prepare you for the generic questions you'll hear everywhere. For me, it didn't help me so much as to what to be prepared to say, rather, it helped me gauge and read the oral board's reactions to my answers.
