 Rating:  - Child's explanation of Rainbow BridgeI wasn't sure what type of book this was. We had lost our beloved Border Collie and I was searching for books on grief associated with pet loss. This was one of the books I ordered. I knew about Rainbow Bridge but was surprised to find out that this book was geared to children and not too much about dealing with pet loss. Would I order it again? Only if I was dealing with children's loss of a pet. Rating:  - The Legend of Rainbow Bridge-2007 Revised EditionGave this to my wife as a gift. She loves dogs, but even more loved the illustrations. They are wonderful for young or old, and the story is also. I can picture someone reading this to a grandchild, explaining the loss of a favorite pet. I can picture an older person, after losing a long time pet, tearfully enjoying the illustrations and the story. Well worth the price.
