Editorial Review:

Product Description:
"Kramer's Ergot" has established itself as the centre of the comic avante-garde, and the mammoth 6th volume is the most impressive to date - a full-on plunge into the spot where contemporary visual art discovers narrative. "Kramer's Ergot 6" successfully places the contemporary comics movement in proper perspective within the context of modern art, literature and graphic design. Celebrated as 'the Raw of our times,' this fantastic book documents an exciting and unprecedented period of upheaval and growth and features internationally revered and applauded artists working in the medium side by side with the new generation's best cartoonists. Edited by Sammy Harkham, "Kramer's Ergot 6" features art by 24 contributors including Elvis Studio, Ron Rege Jr., Ben Jones, Jerry Moriarty, Tom Gauld, John Porcellino, Vanessa Davis, Chris Cilla, Shary Boyle, Suiho Tagawa, Fabio Viscogliosi and many others.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - more than just comics
This issue of Kramers Ergot is not as good as the previous one, publishing some material that one will certainly ask "what the heck is that doing there?", but it still is a very good material presenting some cutting edge comics as well as "dressing" the edition on a very impressive and coherent design. Kramers Ergot is filling up a gap left by Raw magazine and other avant gard publishings we miss so much.
