Editorial Review: Product Description: This new entry in the successful For the First TimeĀ® series focuses on a classic craft that's enjoying a resurgence: paper quilling, a form of filigree that’s perfect for scrapbooking, as well as card and ornament making. Using a friendly question and answer format and dozens of close-up photographs, it explains how to roll coils, make the basic shapes, and create off-centered circles, scrolls, roses, loops, and more. And for every technique, there’s a project. A Selection of the Crafters Choice Book Club. Average Rating:

The instructions are easy to follow. The first one I tried was the hummingbird and flower. Even though it looked hard it wasn't and came out very nice. I made flowers too that will look great as accents on a scrapbook page or card. It's a good way to learn to do quilling which I had never before tried.
