I have over 34 years of critical care nursing experience including the roles of staff nurses, clinical nurse specialist, and nurse faculty. For many years, I have wanted a critical care nursing textbook that contained more advanced content for myself and to recommend for my graduate nursing students. I have been out of ICU nursing for the past 1 1/2 years and this book is great at getting me up to speed. It's current and explains everything very well.
