Pendragon books are good books for early teens through adult, and even prior to early teens, depending on reading level. My son started reading these when he was 11 and he just turned 13. We gave him this book for Christmas. I wish it had come out closer to Christmas. My son reserved it at the library (which I kept 'forgetting' to pick up for him) and every time we went to the mall he'd sneak off to the book store ...
