![]() Rating: - Great BookHuge Fan of Randy's. If you want to learn more about the Legand Read this book!! Rating: - Couture is the real dealIf you're already a Randy Couture fan (as I am), this book is a MUST. If you're new to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), this fine book will introduce you to the ambassador of the sport. Well written and easily read, the book takes you through the ups and downs of the entire life of Randy Couture........ and gives us a picture of what made him the man that he is. Not a "wow look at me" book, Couture reveals his mistakes both as a youth and as an adult. His willingness to be open and honest ... Read More Rating: - Great Insight into the life of a Great fighter.Randy gives a great insight into his life and times, It lets you see what drives a champion. Also one of the few books that points out some of the injuries that happen along the way. I highly recommend this book to any MMA fan or aspiring martial artist Along with the books by Chuck Lidell and Matt Hughes. All 3 give vastly different perspectives of the fighting world. Rating: - Becoming the naturalGenerally entertaining - Background confirmed my Father's advice: "It is easier to become a Father, than to be a Father" Would have liked to have seen a photograph of Randy's 2nd wife. Appreciated Randy's honesty in revealing his less than perfect morals, which at the same time, marred, to some extent, my admiration of the man. Rating: - very openVery good read. Randy is very open about his personal life. He doesn't try to hide his skeletons. Although, i think he has made some bad choices along the way, i respect him even more for admiting to them and not trying to make excuses. It also shows that Randy wasn't always "the natural" in his athletic career, and how one must work hard and dedicate themselves to achieve their goals. In association with Amazon.com | |
