![]() Rating: - great for a quick review on the gothis book is good for reading on the go a week before your exam to just get last minute points in. It is not a main study book by any means. Rating: - BOOMthis book works, period. have you ever seen a book get only 4 and 5 stars on amazon? usually someone has issues. i will be waiting, in the mean time this is really the only book you'll need in addition to a qbank. what makes it awesome is the format is so easy to follow. now i will say there might be a few places where you will need to confirm 2nd and 3rd best treatment options but it looks like they just updated this book so they will likely take care of that. Rating: - Good book, but sadly has several errors so be careful!I used this book with USMLEWorld and love the format of the chapters. I really hate outline books like First AID/Step Up so this is a welcome change. I would say that while reading through the book, I found probably 10 or so errors and maybe 20+ over generalizations/inadequate explanations. I think with slightly more detailed explanations on high yield topics would make a huge difference. I also bought Deja Review for Step 2 and found it to be terribly boring! It's just lists of facts! ... Read More Rating: - Short & to the point! This is a must for anyone who's studying for USMLE Step 2 but does not have the time nor want to spend time reading extensive amounts of review materials! However, you MUST do a lot of questions if you only plan to use this book to review, as it is way too concise to be your sole source of study materials. Rating: - great book for a quick review, use other sources tooThis book was great. I scored in the 99th percentile by skimming this book twice, USMLE world, and a quick read through First Aid for Step 2 CK for basic information and understanding. My advice would be to read through Secrets as you take USMLE world and take notes in the book [some of the info is out of date but you can update as you go]. Studied about 3 1/2 weeks with only these 3 sources. In association with Amazon.com | |
