Practice exams helped me know what to brush up on. Rating: - Lead by LearningNot much to say on this product except that it was a trul assest in assisiting me in prepareing for the entrance test into Surgical Tech. The DVD was an asset that I truly recommend in opening the door to a whole new wealth of knowledge in learning the materials. Money well spent,only if you are willing to apply yourself. It contains too much more info that HOBET requires. If you are preparing for HOBET, I don't recommend this book at all. This book's introduction is so misleading. I bought the wrong book for my HOBET test! Rating: - A Very Big Help!I got this book with about a month to study for the HOBET exam. This book has different sections to study from (math, biology, reading comprehension, etc.). It even has specific study plans depending on how much time you have to study before the exam; this explains which sections to focus on. It was a big help, and so was the cd-rom with practice exams. I would definitely recommend this book. Rating: - Will use anywayAfter finding out that I don't actually need to take the HOBET exam, I decided to hold onto the book anyway. After having been out of school for 6 years I was amazed at how much I've forgotten already. It's a great refresher for everyday life and for some upcoming courses I'll be taking in college.
