Students will benefit from: Focused prefix, suffix, and root practice Challenging inference exercises Detailed critical reading exercises New SAT-style writing and grammar exercises Recommended for grade 9 From the Publisher This is a classroom edition for students. Tests and Answer Keys are available from the publisher, but are sold only to schools and teachers. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Where is the freaking answer section?Practice books for summer study are great, but without an answer guide, this well constructed book has dubious value. Several exercises provoked disagreement between three college educated teachers who reviewed the book with me as to the best possible answer. There not even a web citation of where teachers can procure answers. Rating: - Great Idea, but not completeVocabulary Power Plus is a great idea, but the book is not complete. There's no answer key for those ambiguous SAT skills passages! How do you know if your answer is correct? I like the connection to the SAT, but it would be nice to have more basic practice with the new word: sentence completion, true-false,and matching. In association with Amazon.com | |
