This edition contains six simulated USMLE tests, totaling 900 questions followed by answers and explanations. Questions are organized into clinical encounter frames and written in a case-based interactive format that closely simulates the actual examination. They expose readers to all the physician tasks and practice settings—office, hospital, emergency department, and satellite clinic—that are tested on the exam. The comprehensive coverage includes internal medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, pediatrics, neurology, and obstetrics/gynecology. A bound-in CD-ROM contains questions that simulate the computer-based test format. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - thorough explanations and great questions.this book is very under rated!, i have used this series for step 2 and it really helped me on my test, and i am using this on my off time along with USMLEWORLD and it is great( the content overlaps but these explanations are more thorough.) if you have TIME, do not hesitate to get this book, you will not regret it. Rating: - very good resourceThis is a great book that gives you tons of testing material to work with. Rating: - The best Q book - Value for moneyBest Book after UsMLEWORLD Better than kaplan I will buy this book for the cost - 800 questions Rating: - Full of ErrorsBe careful! I am not even through the first section of this book, and I have found several errors: answers that are not consistent with their explanations, answers that are correct, but whose explanations are wrong and make no physiologic sense. I was able to pick up these errors in subjects that I know well, but now I doubt the answers for subjects that I don't know well, like OB and surgery. Rating: - NMS for boardsGreat book, really helpful.Questions are much harder than you'll find on the boards. In association with Amazon.com | |
