Rating:  - Should be all you need to pass.This book and a few weeks of review should be all you need to pass the oral boards. The author uses the first chapter to review the format of the boards (not exactly accurate, but close enough). The next section is a decent review of common emergency vignettes for adults and peds. The third and final section is non-emergency vignettes divided by category. Each vignette is presented in a style similar to the way your oral boards presentation should proceed: case presentation, summary, localization, ... In the limited hours that I had, I surprisingly was done with this book in 2 weeks and started feeling more confident about my chances. Then I revised a few topics from other books and revised this book again. .. and I passed! Rating: - I passed!Need I say more? This book covers the format of the boards and covers many of the same topics that were asked of me. It defused much of my anxiety. Of all the books I used for the Oral boards, this one was the most helpful. Well organized, easy to read in small doses for those who can only spare a few minutes a day to study, and few typos.
