Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great book!
I just returned from my trip to NYC. This little book proved to be well worth the money. It was well organized and easy to use. I did a few of the suggested neighbourhood walks and they were great. I did not try any of the retaurant recommendations though, but in NYC there is so many food options they can only really scratch the surface in a book like this. I did check out several of the attractions and enjoyed all of them. Lonely Planet hits another one out of the park!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Lonely Planet - Useful, as always11

It's always good to know that I can trust LP to provide the basic information regarding how to get to/from the airport, transportation around the city as well as other information regarding sights and restaurants.

The one complaint I have about this edition is that they do not double ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - OK but you don't need it
If you live near by and go frequently then maybe this book would be of use.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Complete NYC guide
Typical LP style guide, it contains interesting city tours and brief descriptions of many touristic and non touristic spots in the city.
