Rating: - Given the size of India this book does great...I have been an avid traveller and have found LP quite good in all my previous travels. Its a different thing tackling India given the size and the nitty gritty of things in terms of India not being that organized and changing pretty fast. However, LP guide for India has been amazing in the amount and detail of it's coverage. I found the information quite useful and I am sure I am gonna put it to good use. Rating: - Book minus the images!!!As all Lonely Planet Guides, this is excellent and well researched book. I was more excited when it was available on Kindle and went for it. Nice to carry entire excitement about India on a tiny device like iPod. But my excitement was considerably dampened when I found that the Kindle version (for my iPod Touch) comes with only text version. NO PICTURES. The print version contains many nice images of India.
