Lonely Planet takes you for a trip through every country in Africa in this oversized pictorial. Though the focus of this book is clearly on the beautiful scenery, wildlife and, especially, people of Africa, each country does get a few words about its history and travel highlights and a couple of short, simplistic essays open and conclude the book.
