![]() Rating: - Great Series #3 Interesting and Fun for Parents and Kids Alike! Most of you know Metaldiva has two strapping metalbabies, both boys, and they cannot wait for the next of these books to hit the shelves. There is something to be said for a book that can take dry, not so popular reference information and make it come to life for adults and children. This version, like the previous ones, is richly illustrated and has lovely pop-ups, pockets and doodads that turn the reader into an explorer. It has wonderful facts and fun that can open up kids to learning without ... They are about a boy who discovers his father is a Greek god and the adventures he has. As for Mythology, I think it is a great source for information on the ancient Greeks, and highly recommend it. Ella, age 9 Rating: - Neat Quill in the back of the bookMy 8 yr old loves the ology books. Read More Rating: - LOVE this book and the others in this series!!My wife and I enjoyed these books as much as the kids! They were huge hits as Christmas gifts. Great way to get kids interested in ancient history/mythology. Try the other -ology books too! Rating: - Great to get them interestedMy daughter received this book as a gift and loved it. Although it gives shortened versions of different greek myths, it is a great book to get children interested in them. The pop up Pandora's Box was a big hit with my four year old and she loved all the different objects that she could interact with. The storyline in the margins made for a great bedtime story and she was excited to see how the book started to turn to gold after he was given the gift of King Midas.
