It is alive and well, being used by many ESL teachers. Rating: - a great ideaThis is one of the best books for teaching language, especially to children. Here's the technique I used successfully. First, give each student a photocopy of the page you're going to study. (Kids love comics: it looks like a comic.) Next, if they're old enough, make them write the descriptions of each picture. ("It's ten o'clock. He's watching TV. The program is finished. He's very tired. He gets up and turns off the TV. He stretches and yawns." And so on.) If they're too young for that, ...
