![]() Rating: - Very thoughtful with great recipesI've only used several of the recipes in this book but I can say that it truly is a gem. I've suffered from acne my whole life and after using the grapeseed oil Falconi recommends my skin is less oily and better controlled than when I was using salicyclic acid and benzoyl peroxide twice a day so just based on that triumph this book is worth buying. If you are at all interested in natural health care definitely check this out. (It's cheaper and better quality that what you will find at LUSH.) Rating: - Exactly what I was looking forI was looking for a book to teach myself how to make my own skin-care products. This book does just that. I have used several recipes - which I usually "tweak" to my own preferences. I've recommended it to many family/friends. Rating: - I love it!Great book! Lots of helpful information and recipes for making soaps and beauty products, just what I was looking for. Rating: - Great bookI thoroughly enjoyed this book and have tried many of the recipes in it. Many of the tips and recipes are wonderful and it is nice because there is a section devoted to teens, men, elders, etc. But, I have to disagree with her suggestion to put butter on a burn - very very bad to do (put your burn under cold water instead!). Otherwise I very much enjoy the book, and it is a very useful part of my library now. Rating: - This is an awesome bookMy plan for getting this book was to make a hand and body lotion that actually works for me. I've tried over 10 of these recipe's and I can't say that I'm disappointed. I've spent hours and hours pouring over the info in this book and it's all sound advice. It gives you enough knowledge to even make your own concoctions. The only thing I'm not truly happy with is the recommendations in the back on where to get your ingredients. Take my advice and get them at Majestic Mountain Sage in Logan Utah. ... Read More In association with Amazon.com | |
