Everyone with a chronic medical condition such as Parkinson's disease should know, for example, to alternate periods of activity with periods of rest, plan ahead, and to take advantage of labor-saving devices and new technology. They can use these techniques to become more organized and to work smarter. And, most important, they will be more independent than they otherwise would have been.

This book is a great resource for people with PD. It has a chapter about the special challenges of eating/swallowing with PD, which was very detailed and informative. I'd recommend the book.
