 Rating: - Practice for the BoardsI don't know which book the Oct 2000 reviewer was looking at, as my copy of this book is nothing but explanation of answers. This is a useful book for people who learn well from testing their knowledge through question and answer, however be sure to supplement this with more up-to-date sources such as Qbank, First Aid 2003 or Step Up to make sure you focus on the more pertinent subject matter and not minutiae! But it therefore makes you think about the questions, and type of questions that will be on the boards. Plus, if there's ANYTHING in the answers that you don't know ... you MUST read up on it before the boards. GREAT for review when closer to the exam. MASTER this and you will ROCK the boards. They do not explain why the wrong answers are wrong either. You do not know what they are talking about. Finally, I just used this book to look for the correct answer. Almost every time, when I tried to read some of the explanations, I was always disappointed and angry with it. Please do not buy this book unless you just want to use it as a correct answer list.
