From the supplier: An 11-year study of Cooper's Hawks (Accipiter cooperii) yielded rare data on natal dispersal, defined as movement between birth place and breeding site, in a raptor species. Successful inbreeding was also observed between a grandmother hawk and her grandson for three consecutive years, which warrants further investigation to determine the incidence and consequences of this phenomenon, as well as the factors that promote or inhibit its occurrence.
