From the supplier: A study which aimed to determine the relationship between aerobic capacity and age and anthropometric measures of black adolescent girls is presented. Participants consisted of 91 black girls aged between 11 to 15 years. Results showed no relation between aerobic capacity and age. Other findings included significant relationships between anthropometric measures and aerobic capacity and similar aerobic capacity and maximal heat rate values whether or not subjects achieved performance plateaus. A comparative analysis with similar studies showed that black adolescent girls had less aerobic capacity than whites. Citation Details Title: Aerobic capacity in black adolescent girls.
