From the supplier: The US government outlined its goals for health education among students in the Joint Committee on National Health Education Standards. These goals included the creation of a drug- and tobacco-free environment, the nurturing of student behavior that does not resort to injury and sexual behavior that spread sexually-transmitted disease, and a means of coordinating schools to make their health programs consistent. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention defined health education programs administered at various levels.
