From the supplier: Parents, teachers, principals and school board members participate in the decision-making process aimed at improving the quantity and quality of physical education. However, district administrators are a big part of this decision-making process, particularly with regards to funding, staffing and program philosophy. A survey was conducted to assess district administrators' perceptions of elementary school physical education. The results indicate that these perceptions should be considered in the formulation of strategies for improving physical education.
