 Rating: - It works!We live in dry New Mexico and tried Square Foot Gardening last summer. It worked really well, conserved water and provided an abundant harvest for 2 adults. Our garden was 2 plots, 4' X 4', along with a supplementary area for squash and corn. The book was enjoyable reading and EASY to follow. Rating: - gardening bookThe order & shipping process was like butta. I haven't had time yet to go through the book. Waiting for warmer weather to put it to good use. My physical disabilities limit the amount of work I can do in a garden and this gave me some great ideas. I set my 10X15 foot garden up according to the illustrations and made tomato trellises using metal posts and wire. I have to say that by the end of the season there was a lot of die-off from fungus. Frankly, 1 foot square is not enough room for the average tomato plant, even on its nifty trellis. My melons and zucchini caught the fungus, too.
