 Rating:  - alka seltzer plus nighttimeAs stated in my review of the Alka Seltzer for cold & sinus daytime-this works just the same for my husband at night. He takes only one of the tablets before going to bed & his sinus pressure diminishes & he is able to get a good night sleep (as well as me). Rating:  - Effective medicine, awful tasteThese tablets work as stated on the package - it relieves cold symptoms and knocks you out. However, the fakey weird "lemon" taste is horrible. It's extremely difficult to force this medicine down. I continue to take it for the effect, because I have almost a whole box and, that considered, am pleased with the result; however, I would recommend you look to a traditional caplet for more palatable nighttime cold relief. Rating: - Highly effective!!!After taking a single dose (2 tablets fully dissolved in water) I slept through the night perfectly, although still had some cold symptoms, mainly coughing, in the morning. The previous night I kept coughing all night long... barely slept at all.
