When not one but four relatives gave me this book over the holidays, I knew they were trying to tell me something: you need to slow down on the bacon.

Ater reading this book and following the advice I lost 30 pounds, my Triglycerides went from 266 to 53, my HDL went from 30 to 42 and my LDL went from 195 to 151, which totally blew my Doctor away, she said she had never seen results that good before, and without any drugs.

If you're new to the heart disease conversation, Dr. Katz's book is a wonderful place to start. The book is about a great deal more than just cholesterol.
