![]() Rating: - McClane-Palin in 2008I miss the good old days of action flicks when they were helmed by great directors like McTiernan, Cameron, and Harlan and you had average Joes like Bruce, Arnold, and Sly saving the world. Everything today is so CGI. About the only actor today that meets the standards of yesteryear is Jason Statham. The latest installment of "Die Hard" has it's cake and eats it too. For sure there's alot of CGI but Willis makes you believe that he's getting his butt kicked by a Harrier. The story combines post ... Read More Rating: - Unnecessary Sequel!!I really wish they'd stop making sequels of movies from long ago. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Clerks II, Rambo, Rocky Balboa, Hannibal Rising, etc. It's nice to relive those old movies as they were and let the characters fade into the legendary status they deserve. This movie could continue with as many sequels as they want and I would watch them. Bruce Willis is HOT! I love him when he is dirty and sweaty. He is a believable common man hero. He doesn't go through mud and dirt and fighting and in the next scene be squeaky clean. The price is great and I was pleased with the unrated version. Rating: - Die Hard - okAll of you are taking this movie way too seriously. Its an ACTION movie. Not a documentary. Did you actually expect that you were going to gain some inspiring, intellectual knowledge from watching this movie? Lighten up! Its supposed to be entertaining and implausible. And yes, all 4 of these Die Hard movies have implausible scenarios. I guess none of you are big fans of Jason Bourne or James Bond, huh? I thought it was entertaining. And while I'm not a computer geek, I didn't find the computer jargon to ... Read More In association with Amazon.com | |
