![]() Rating: - In search of an audience . . . .Strange concept -- This is basically a chick flick, with the usual lonely guy meets lonely gal, they work through colossal problems, and finally end up at their blissful wedding. The problem here is that this "chick flick" is loaded with raunchy language and sexual situations, and a LOT of bare female breasts. Not appealing to the average woman. And the mooney-eyed love story theme will not likely appeal to those guys looking for a steamy film. So . . . this effort is left searching ... Rating: - RAUNCHY, SILLY AND NOT AS BAD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!'Good Luck Chuck' got so much bad press I thought I would hate this movie, but it's not 'THAAAAT' bad...... around 2 1/2 stars....I had to give it 3 stars on the ratings board to even things out a bit. I'm really annoyed that I spent money to rent this. Had I paid to see it in the theaters I would have demanded my money back! Rating: - At your own peril, give it a try...This film is simply... the antithesis to what we consider a great film. When you start seeing, you want to turn it off because you can not believe the raunchiness of it all, and soon, you start laughing at some of the situations and continue to watch in the hopes that it gets better... and sometimes it does, and sometimes it is so bad that you continue to laugh asking ourselves... Where in the name of heaves did this plot come from? The main actor, Dane Cook, plays Charlie "Chuck" Logan, a ... Read More In association with Amazon.com | |
