Books for Prep

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
It's hard to believe that a book edited by doctors and nurses could have so many typos and spelling errors. In addition, the format doesn't help you retain information - some answers are just long lists of symptoms. There is rarely any explanation of why the answer is correct, which to be fair, isn't surprising since it's advertised as a book that simply contains the correct answers. The cardiology section asks very difficult questions which are more suited to medical diagnosis than to nursing assessment and implementation of emergency care.

To study for this exam, you really need sample tests to review, which it doesn't have.

Sorry, but this is the most poorly written and disappointing book I have ever purchased.
