- #1 resource for USMLE Step 1This is THE book for preparing for the USMLE Step 1. Its new systems-based organization make it an amazing product for reviewing for the test. Write in it and refer to it as you go through your first and second years in medical school, and you will be glad to have done it. This is a great comprehensive review that gives you information in the most concise and easy to remember format. Be sure to check the associated web page for the errata though. Tao Le is the man! Rating: - satisfiedSo far, this was the book highly recommended by all my friends who have taken the USMLE step 1. Its a good reviewer only if you've read the basic books while you were studying in class, but if you dont understand the basics, this might not be the book you should start with. The outline form is awesome especially for your last days of review before the exam. Rating: - Okay, not a lot of materialThe book has a great outline of information that you need to know for the step I, however, it doesn't have a large amount of actual review material. The book does tell you good resources taht you can use to find it though. Rating: - Great BookAll Medical Students should have this book. It's a total reformat from its previous editions. Everything is divided into different systems which makes it really useful while simultaneously doing the qbank for USMLE Step 1. A 5/5 recommendation for this book. Rating: - First Aid for USMLE Step1This book has been great to help with my studying for classes I'm currently taking in medical school. It helps to emphasize the main points and to do quick reviews for exams. It will also be useful next year as I prepare to take USMLE Step1. In association with Amazon.com | |
