- A view of what you don't see in an emergencyThis book has a collection of stories from the men and women who are in the front lines of a medical emergency. These professionals are charged with our care until we are able to reach a hospital. They may be "Angels of Emergency", but they are also human like the rest of us. This book iterates some of their stories from joys to tears. Dealing with death, near death, and the once in awhile delivery of new life experiences as a full time job can take a tremendous toll on our emergency medical service personnel. This book helps the rest of us appreciate what a difference they make, understand what it takes to be one of them, and overall appreciate the precious gift of life. I'd recommend this book to everyone: those that are interested in joining EMS; and those that may one day need an ambulance. page 2 of 2
