Also very useful for general/maxillofacial/ENT/orthopedic surgery and dermatology rotations. Rating:  - Michigan Manual of Plastic Surgery -ReviewAlthough one can tell that a lot of time and energy was used to write this book, there is little value to this book for the practicing physician. Rating: - Excellent Review Book for Medical StudentsMichigan Manual is comprehensive in its scope of plastic surgery topics and should serve as an excellent reference for medical students. I am a fourth year student and found this text invaluable. It is written in outline form and serves as a quick review. It is a great primer for cases, and can be carried around in your coat pocket. Diagrams/photographs of relevant anatomy are sometimes lacking and this text must be supplemented with a heftier reference book for a more complete understanding of certain topics, but this is still the first reference I go to. page 1 of 1
