 - Great leadership bookI ordered this book as a gift as I have already read it. This a great book on leadership and life principles. I have read many other John Maxwell books and this is one of his best. If you lead or manage people (or want to) you need to read this book. Rating:  - maxwell deserves a medalof all the leadership books maxwell has published, this is the best of the best. in typical maxwell fasion, he blends leadership principles with timeless examples from history and his life making this book easy to read. it's quick to read, a challenge to apply, but worth every minute of it. every leader from churches, schools, and businesses should read this! Rating: - Leadership Principles John Maxwell has written numerous books on leadership over the years. This new book is a culmination of all his experience, teachings, and writings through the years in one edition. Though some of the ideas are not new to his readers, it is packaged in a way that it is fresh and exciting. This book would be helpful to any leader or potential leader. Rating: - Christian minister trumps them all with his down-to-earth thoughts on leadershipI have read many so called business leadership books by titans of industry such as Welch of GE and Gerstner of IBM. Ironically, this christian minister trumps them all with his down-to-earth thoughts on leadership. Indeed, you will not find many pages without at least one good glowing nugget to "takeaway" and "tuckaway" for the future. Please do not be concerned that Maxwell is a minister. He is not "preachy" or evangelical. So far, I have read two of his books. I plan to read them all. This book should be mandatory reading for everyone who is a leader in any human endeavor, ranging from high tech business to Girl Scout cookie sales. Rating: - Striving for the GOLD!Dr. Maxwell does it again. This book on leadership delivered exactly what I expected - strong thought and practical examples on how to acheive the highest and most efficient dimension in leadership.
