 - A Thorough ReviewIf it has been a while since you last studied basic science subjects, this book is right for you. It has more details than most reviews for the USMLE Step 1 Examination, and its textbook format is an advantage: I find it difficult to study with texts that are based on questions and answers. The space provided for notes is very usefull. You might think that the chapter on Anatomy is too long, but when I took the USMLE Examination, I found out that there was more anatomy mixed in the questions than I expected. The chapters on Microbiology and Behavioral Sciences are excelent. The second part of the book covers almost all the Patology you will need. The chapters on Biochemistry and Pharmacology are good to refresh your knowledge, but are not enough to take the test. In conclusion, if you have the time to read it, it is a good book to prepare for the USMLE Step 1 Examination. page 1 of 1
