- Useful for the boards but needs something!!!I loved the illustrations they were great for the boards, also great tables and charts. But too much minutae makes it a hard read. If primary source for boards then START early. For a quick review Ultimate Review for NB wins!!! Rating: - Great review book!Bought one for the office. Loved the ability to review topics quickly. Illustrations and pictures do help. Will buy another to keep at home. Rating: - best book-reviewIt is the best"review" book. There is no good "question" book available.Old rites are probably the best for now. I am happy with the topics/coverage and content. It is how you read a topic that really makes you a good or bad test taker. But images/salient points are good. I would give 5 stars to this book only because it is the best available. I would suggest that a companian question book should be published Rating: - Great Book I didnt finish this book yet but its easy to use and not like other review books, that are written in poor way and lacking any kind of diagrams or pictures, this one is full of very helpful images and diagrams. Also the questions in the end of each chapter are very good. I think the only reason I didnt give this book 5 stars is simply I didnt take the exam yet,so I dont know how far it will be sufficiant in the Neurology board exam. Rating: - DisappointedI was eagerly waiting for the book, but disappointed in the end. Overall, I agree that it is a good book(in terms of chapter coverage in details), but does not seem to be written from the exam point of view. You will not be able to revise it quickly before the exam as it is very very lengthy. You are better off reading the BRADLEY--believe me Questions at the end of each chapter appear to be helpful but the nizar-neurology questions is the best. You can suppliment that with the old RITE's If you still have a doubt, please go to the store and look for youself b4 purchasing this costly product. Hope this helps. page 1 of 2
