 - Weirdest Art Book Ever !!!Loved the book but it freaked me out all the same......Here we see all those mall painting and commercial art products from hell in all there glory....but some thing is weird. The cover has an atypical Kinkade surreal image and then on one of the first pages is the picture of an MBNA credit card with a Kinkade masterpiece on its's face.....Then there are creations so sickeningly sweet that they would out Koons Jeff Koons without trying. Finally I read the essays and they were readable unlike most every other art catalogue.....They also were enlightening and make sense....So I am all twisted around and not sure what to think but at least I am thinking and this is way better than most art experiences......Is kinkade a great artist????? Not in the museum sense but in the way this book sets him up he is definitely a major factor .....In other words I learned more about art from this book than I have from hundreds of "real" art catalogues. Jeffery Vallance give me more PLEASE!!!! page 1 of 1
