 - BlueprintsThe Blueprints book is good. It is pretty concise and readable. Probably doesn't contain all the info you need. The one I got unfortunately had a lot of writing and highlighting in it, but it was ok. Rating:  - Blueprints PediatricsThis series is FANTASTIC for any medical, DO or PA student. They give you the nuts and bolts of most disorders seen in 2 pages. They are easy to understand and read. They are a wonderful asset for clinical rotations. Rating: - Excellent book for clerkshipI used this book after receiving recommendations for it from literally every person I knew who has been through Pediatrics at multiple medical schools. The book is thorough but doesn't drag you through muddy details, making it an excellent resource for figuring out patients with common problems. Reading it cover-to-cover, along with a question book like PreTest is excellent preparation for the shelf exam. Rating: - Content is generally good but too many typos and errorsI think that this is an adequate review for pediatrics. It is also nice for going over basic medicine topics again. However, I have found many typos and errors in tables(and I am only on page 131 out of 300). For example, Table 10-1 lists all the hemolytic anemias and sickle cell as macrocytic. Later on the chapter does cover the material properly. These sorts of errors waste a lot of my mental time and effort. Rating: - Has everything you will need...This book has everything, I bought the older edition and it has everything you'll need to pass the boards, take care of pediatric patients, do well on a clinical rotation and beyond!!!
