- Great book for every age. This book was originally purchased for our teenage daughter, but the whole family of any age can benefit from it. I strongly recommend it. It is very helpful for people who have many negative thought patterns that they feel they cannot break. Rating: - Mind Coach is an outstanding resource for parents and childrenI have used this book as a resource for parents and families in my parent coaching for several years. I order the book in quantity so I always have it available. I would give it a 5 star rating. Rating: - We need more books like this...This is a good book for kids, though I think there should be less review of the negative thoughts and more focus on what they could be thinking about instead. Kids need examples of positives in their lives, and also how their thinking effects their daily lives. We need more books like this, and stronger. Rating: - Mindfully ReviewedThe manual is appropriate for younger students and older students who are still challenged with cognitive skills useful in everyday life. Format is that of a children's book and younger children can relate to the media layout. In an age of low self-esteem and non-nuturing environments thinking positive and feeling good about oneself can only enhance a child's outlook on life and affects the manner in which he/she relates to others. This book assists in helping children gain insights into the positive effects the brain can promote in the areas of positive emotions and self-concept. Rating: - Mind Coach: How to Teach Children & Teenagers to Think Positive & Feel GoodI was very disappointed in the book. It was a book for little kids, not for teenagers. It is a badly shaped book and a lot of wasted space. I returned it. It does not compare to the other books by Daniel Amen that are excellent. The information in this book acan be found in other books by Amen page 1 of 1
