![]() Rating: - A must have for the beginning emtI am reading the book for the second time in as many years. The premis of the story line is a little dry, but it follows a logical path that takes you beyond the school/clinical education you recive as a emt-b. It is full of "pearls" that come in handy. Just look beyind the "story" line and see it for what it is. Rating: - Add This to Your LibraryI've had this book for just about 8 hours now and have not been able to put it down. It is a great refresher for EMT-1's as well as Medics, although this book is probably more well suited for the EMT-1. It is a very well written book and a very easy read. Education in this field is never ending and this book is well worth adding to your growing library of medical books. It's refreshing to get a book that is not as dry sterile as most medical materal. A recommended read, especially for ... Read More Rating: - Purchasing the THIRD copy! This is the most fantastic book for new and old techs. I have purchased two new copies of this book and I am getting ready to purchase the third. Over the past 18 years of being an EMT, I have worn out one copy, nearly worn out the second-then, gave it to a "new" tech, now am going to purchase my third copy. I have recommended this book to multiple people. Every person who obtained a copy of it have raved about the improvement of their skills after reading this and putting the ideas in to action. ... Read More Rating: - A Must HaveA great book for EMT and Paramedics. Great insights in what and how to look at signs and symptoms during assessment. Don't be discouraged about the book being published too long ago. The assessment skills are timeless. It really will teach you how to do a through and rapid assessment and often make a diagnosis within minutes. I have been trying to find more books like this, and have yet to find any as educational. Rating: - Good stuff for New ParamedicsThis was a really good book to narrow down the key points of knowledge for assessment. It helps you look out for the major things while staying systematic. Really great book for New Paramedics who want to excel at their assessments. In association with Amazon.com | |
