This makes book makes difficult ideologies understandable and gives examples of how these theories are put into practice. Rating: - Happy with this textThe book is easy to read and follow. I recommend this book to any student or nurse who wants a precise picture of clinical ethical issues. My only complaint is I would have liked more detail in the discussion of each issue. Overall the book is very useful and relevant for healthcare workers. I am most satisfied with it. The author is really highlighting her doctornal thesis on Buddhist influences on Aristoles work and Nursing. This is presented but not critiqued for it's place in the Judea-Christian Belief System prevalent in Western Civilizaton. Rating: - Nursing Ethics - Good BookAfter reading this book in my nursing practice issues class I learned a lot about ethics in nursing. Being a nursing student, I can use this valuable information in my clinicals and when I start working in the hospital. The ethical concerns are discussed comprehensively. Nurses need to read this book. Very good book, read it.
