 Rating: - screen doors and sweet teaApricot Rice Salad, Watermelon Salsa, new fashion Cabbage Rolls plus a few concotions with burbon that you haven't thought of yet, its all in here. The author treats the reader with a small story about how the recipie came about, that reads like a book. All in all, the cookbook is delightful and the recipies will be your new old favorites. I have family on the west coast that I'm buying another copy to give to them, the recipies are delicious and so are the stories of how they got concocted. The ... Read More Rating:  - just hated the bookI paid full price for this book, not usual for me. I just did not like this book. I didn't like the recipts, nor did I like the stories. It was just not my cup of tea. (excuse the pun) And, what is a pompano? yes, I get it is a fish but I don't recall being able to purchase it in the shoprite. I just didn't like the book I guess. ( PS, I was raised in the south).
