 Rating: - Mass Gen NeuroThis is an excellent pocket resource for student neurologists. Outline format is succinct, clearly written and tables/treatment algorithms are very helpful. Some other, more lengthy, text would be a better resource for learning about disease topics at length, but this is excellent for formulating a DDx and treatment plan while on the wards. It packs a lot of information in a tiny space and covers many topics. It does not have references or prognostic stats, but it will help you in DDx, basic management issues, or just simply act as a reminder when you can't quite remember details about something. I was pleasantly surprised at how much info is in this book. Highly recommended. Rating: - Changed my lifeNo other neurology handbook packs as much useful information so succinctly. I wouldn't be without it on the wards. Lots of imaging coverage. It also has relevant coverage of psychiatry, medicine, and neurosurgery.
